The table feature in my excel can be used. but it cannot be called in other columns. always appears error like #VALUE! Is it because my excel 2019 version does not support this feature? I'm stuck here, it's so hard to find in the community

thankyou for your attention1736691858532.png

Hello Firman,

Excel 2019 supports tables and structured references, but the behavior you're experiencing shouldn't be version-related. If the issue persists despite using correct syntax, it could be related to Excel settings or a potential corruption in the workbook.

Are you using @ or it's appearing automatically?

Insert = and the table name.

Hello,
Oh yeah, I forgot to say. I dont use @ I just use =apply
and actually without curly brackets. I have copied the file from another PC which is using excel 2021. Found the curly brackets too.

whereas when using curly braces manually, it doesn't work and is formatted as plain text.

Previously, I would like to thank you for your response

Hello Firman,

It seems like the issue you're facing may be related to how Excel 2021 handles array formulas differently, including using curly brackets.
For the error you encountered, I suggest correctly entering array formulas (using Ctrl + Shift + Enter for array formulas in Excel 2019). If it's still an issue, resetting Excel settings or checking for file corruption might help.
Since you're transferring between versions, checking that compatibility mode is off might also resolve this.

It turns out that what you said is true. I have read, studied and asked for help from ai about curly brackets, arrays and other formulas. I am really grateful and alhamdulillah for your help, making my understanding stronger. It turns out that excel 2019 is quite behind for some functions, but can use alternative formulas & method.
I am very grateful ma'am

You're most welcome! I'm so happy to hear that the explanation helped deepen your understanding. Exploring alternative formulas is a great way to work around Excel 2019's limitations. Alhamdulillah for your progress! 😊
