Hello Thurley,

To create an Activity on the Node (AON) diagram, we need the dependencies for each activity. This information determines the flow and sequencing of activities. If no dependencies are provided, the AON diagram assumes all activities are independent, which is unlikely in most project planning cases.

Steps:
  • Define Activities and Durations: You have provided the activities and their durations.
  • Identify Dependencies: Specify which activities must be completed before others can begin.
  • Create Nodes and Connections: Represent each activity as a node and link nodes based on dependencies.
If you have dependencies for the activities, please share them, and I’ll design the AON diagram accordingly. Without dependencies, I can only list independent nodes with durations.

IDProject MilestonesTime to Completion (days)
AUser Engagement; Understand needs and requirements.7
BMap current workflows and processes10
CLiase with PACS office regarding next key steps1
DLiase with AGFA (Vendor)2
ELiase with ICT regarding key ICT considerations2
FCollect external physician willing to be involved in testing.7
GLiase with healthlink in relation to healthmail and all external pysicians updated on IPMS5
HFinalise Vendor (AGFA) task completion3
IDistribution of reports via email added to SLA and maintenance contract14
JOnboarding and training for all clerical staff.2
KDevelop and Launch with a few external physicians7
LTesting6
MSoft launch; test process on one external physician with support available for trouble shooting.7
OData Validation7
PUser feedback and modification7
QTesting 2; Include data validation checks7
RProject close; project report and presentation7
SShare report across other HSE sites3

`please see above does that help.

Thanks,
Treasa

Hello Thurley,

Here is the updated Activity on Node (AON) diagram, representing the tasks and their dependencies based on the provided data. Each node shows the task ID, description, and duration in days.

that is super thank you, would you be able to create it in Excel for me? I just don't understand what you put in the boxes.
