Columns B,E,H contain a diamond shape in the top left corner of the cell. Is it possible to remove these objects from the cell? What are these objects used for?
Thanks for sharing your problem with us. The diamond shape in the top left corner of the cells of your worksheet is Error Checking Indicator. This shape appears because you have stored numbers as text in your workbook.
There are two ways to resolve this problem.
Solution:1
First, go to the File tab.
Then, click the Options command.
In the Excel Options dialog box, go to the Formulas menu >> disable the Enable Background Error Checking option >> click the OK button.
The Error Checking Indicators won’t appear now.
Solution:2
If you don’t want to disable the Background Error Checking, then select the range for which the Error Checking Indicator appears (i.e. range B2:B166) >> click the Error Checking Indicator >> Select the Ignore Error command.
Now, the Error Checking Indicator is not visible for the selected range. Repeat this for other ranges as well.
Hopefully, this resolves your problem. Let us know your feedback.
