Table function

Hi

I have a table that has two columns. In the top cell of the right hand column is a DSUM function that refers to a database and criteria table. The left hand column contains dates (years). All of the lower cells of the right hand column contain entries: {=TABLE(,W4)}, in which W4 is a cell in the criteria table. Those lower right-hand cells show the DSUM values for the corresponding years.

I want to create another similar table, but can't remember or work out how to do it. I know it involves Ctrl + Shift + Enter.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

I figured it out. The problem is that the Table function has been removed from the Data menu. The function still exists, but can be accessed only by short cut.

Press Alt, then D, then T sequentially to open the Data Table dialog, leave the Row input cell blank, and enter W4 into the Column input cell—Excel will automatically generate the {=TABLE(,W4)} array formula for you without needing to press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.
